I'm somebody who likes to take my time with a good thing, and the fact is, I'm still going through the records I gripped at the first Waxpaper Records Pop-Up Vinyl Shop — a mad spree of English folk, art rock, soul and jazz — so deep were the cuts on offer. And while peak vinyl at retail has become something of a menace, Waxpaper's pop-up's offer some things Philly, a town with no standing record fair scene, doesn't otherwise have: Bargains and  camaraderie among crate diggers. Volume 2 will reunite the gang from the first one — expect to see crates from Brewerytown Beats, Milkcrate, plus some cool local DJs and some private sellers with "super fancy rare shit." Also, there'll be DJ sets, drinks, and pizza.
