BY KIKI VOLKERT | This might be a generational thing, but I feel kind of gross when I talk about Instagram anywhere that isn't Instagram, including other places on the Internet. But I'll stomach my gross feelings to say this: if you don't already, you should follow Inga Saffron on Instagram. She throws elegant, subtle shade at things, including things that provide no shade at all, like the transparent glass of the new Faith and Liberty Discovery Center at 5th & Market. She waxes nostalgic about the city's disappearing McDonald's. She tells people to Google her name to find her work, which is, to me, the most glamorous thing anyone can do. She finds great fonts! She's even following the local stickball scene. This might also be a generational thing but I feel like I can sniff out inauthenticity and corniness from a mile away, but all I can smell here is someone with a desire to share beautiful and informative stuff about the city they love.
