Self-proclaimed "America's Game" Wheel of Fortune will be celebrating all-things Philadelphia from May 16-20 with a week's worth of shows in which area contestants use their vowel-purchasing power to solve puzzles that seem impossibly easy now that we actually come to think about it given the show's longevity. Hmm. This tribute, part of the program's "Great American Cities" initiative, will feature pre-recorded segments in which Pat and Vanna discuss Philly life and tourist locations -- expect plenty of cheesesteak money shots that will fill you with whatever the opposite of civic pride is. The Wheel has come to the City of Brotherly Love before, so it's hardly the first time hoagiemouth has been on the national stage. We personally won't be watching, but when "jawn" makes its inevitable appearance in the 'Thing' category please let your friends at Philebrity know so we can start planning a proper funeral for the word.
