The Circuit Offers 300 Miles Of Biking Pleasure Throughout Philly

Last month, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission awarded $7.6 million dollars to 11 different projects throughout the area that will help implement their dream of realizing he massive regional trail network known simply as The Circuit. As of now, it currently spans 300 miles throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, with plans for a total of 750 miles of interconnected biking space to be completed at some point in the hopefully not-too-distant future. In these post-#OpenSpacePHL times, this is a development that you might be taking for granted -- and you absolutely shouldn't be. The Circuit is officially open for the season (head to the Schuylkill River Trail, trust me), and thanks to the Circuit Trails Coalition ongoing commitment to the project it's just going to result in more cycling pleasure for everyone -- that is, unless the Philly Naked Bike Ride folks catch word of it.
