Readers Cameraphone: The PPA Uses The Same Parking Meters As The Israeli Philadelphia Parking Authority

A devoted reader who’s recently shipped off to Mesopotamia informs us:

It turns out that in some cities in Israel, they have the same parking meters as the PPA. And guess what?? Those jawns still don’t work properly. At least the woman writing my ticket was nice to look at (and she let me slide…this time).

Make what you will of this. For us, it means that our citywide, person-to-person struggle with the PPA can be characterized just as we always thought it to be: Biblical.

Seeing something around town of note? Cameraphone it to: tips[at]philebrity[dot]com.

I wonder if their parking meters observe Shabbat. I wish ours would.
