Tonight, from 5 to 9PM, there’s a grand opening ceremony going on for Drexel’s new URBN Center arts and design center, the new home of Drexel’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. The ceremony will feature one of the “top jugglers in the world” (we didn’t know they were ranked), five teams of dancers wearing student designed outfits, and an honest-to-God 3D printer, which will print out USB drives. Invites were sent out to 5,000 faculty, students, staff, alumni, and community members, but probably not you. Not to worry though, we sent out own Indira Jimenez over there to snap some shots of the building that the Inquirer called “a mind-blowing, Escher-inspired puzzle space.” Meet us after the jump to check out some more images, and pretend you’re there.
