Philly won’t be just expecting an early spring with yummy temperatures soon: The Philly Parks Alliance just got a huge payday of $2.675 million in a budget increase that will result in 63 new full time trade/maintenance jobs, 75 additional seasonal positions, and 900,000 clams for new equipment.     No. The Department of Parks and Recreation got the additional budget increase. The Philadelphia Parks Alliance is a non-profit group that advocates for parks, and has long been pushing for an increase to city park funding.
