LIVE at the Writers House, a collaborative event series between WXPN and the Kelly Writers House, is a six-times-a-year, one-hour broadcast/live event featuring poetry, music, and spoken-word, along with a musical guest. You can listen back to previous archived editions over here, or you can head to Kelly Writers House tonight to catch the latest show live, featuring readings from contributors to Philly Love Notes (including Edith Mulhern talking about Woodlands Cemetery, Katie Sweeney taking on Kelly Drive, Andrew Thompson discussing Farm 51, and John Paul Titlow sharing his love for Little Pete’s) and a musical performance from the always great Gretchen Lohse. The show will air on WXPN at 8PM on February 4th, but it costs nothing to be there live tonight at 7PM at the Kelly Writers House Arts Cafe and take it in with your own eyes. Do you have a better way to spend your cold Monday night? We didn’t think so.
