The YO! Bus Wants To Be Your New Chinatown Bus, Yo

A mere five months after our initial request for intel (things move fast in the internet age) we finally have proof: The YO! Bus is the new Chinatown Bus. A few of you had left comments to the effect of “The YO Bus is Greyhound’s attempt to get in on that hot, hot Chinatown Bus game.” It turns out you were half right.
The YO Bus is joint-operated by Greyhound Lines, Inc. and Peter Pan Bus Lines, who are really harping on the whole safety thing (wonder why), saying that the operators are “two of the safest motorcoach operators in the country,” and “The name YO! is derived from the pronunciation of the Chinese word that means ‘to protect.’”
The YO Bus offers eight-trips daily (both ways) for $12, and is building a bit of a cult following (what’s up, 46 Facebook likes). And don’t you just want to check it out? We mean, look how much fun this guy is having. He’s having a goddamn blast.
