This Evening: On Awards Eve

>>> Free drinks and free tunes will be in abundance at Art in the Age, as The Silver Ages and John Wesley Harding play an in-store show, while free cocktails made with AITA spirits flow. The whole thing starts at 6PM.
>>> On the other side of things, the Philadelphia Young Artists Orchestra performs their Holiday Benefit Concert for St. James School, featuring the Upper Darby High School Singers and the PYAO’s roster of dozens of the region’s most gifted middle and high school-aged classical musicians. There will be holiday tunes, carols, and the music of Bach and Mendelssohn. Plus, all funds from the admission go towards St. James School in North Philadelphia. The concert takes place at Saint Mark’s Church (1625 Locust Street).
>>> And Philly punks Ex-Friends are paying PhilaMOCA’s Tuesday Tune-Out, followed by a screening of a “classic of early 90s East Coast independent cinema.”
