We bet very few people have told Kevin Barnes that his band is boring. Maybe that’s because they’re afraid the of Montreal frontman will ride that horse into the crowd and crush them, or maybe that’s also because he was riding a horse on stage. And on the heels of Paralytic Stalks, the psychedelic pop group’s 11th studio record, the band is staying constant with their unpredictability. Just about the only thing you can predit out of them is wacky song titles, and Stalks does not disappoint (“We Will Commit Wolf Murder,” “Ye, Renew the Plaintiff,” “Gelid Ascent”). You can hear these songs and more — oh man, please play “We Will Commit Wolf Murder” — when OM plays The Troc tomorrow night with Foxygen and French Horn Rebellion. And hey, we’d like you to go.
