Not Satisfied With Only The Boot And Saddle On South Broad, Four Corners Snatches Up The Dolphin Tavern

The Four Corners Management people (as if they hadn’t already) are building themselves a nice little portfolio. They’ve got all the Drinker’s locations, Lucy’s, Morgan’s Pier, Noche, Ortlieb’s Lounge, Union Transfer, the soon-to-be-new-again Boot and Saddle, and now the soon-to-be-new-again Dolphin Tavern.

According to the Passyunk Post, “Four Corners Management has struck a deal to operate the Dolphin Tavern next to the Broad and Tasker subway stop, according to a source with direct knowledge of the deal.” According to their source, the inside is being mostly preserved, and the Dolphin could be open under their management as early as December 1st (not to worry loyal patrons of the Dolphin, the dancer pedestals will remain). It’s yet to be seen exactly what the vibe of the place will be, but here’s to wishing for something a little dive-y, but a little less skeeve-y.
