Conor Oberst — who has been making music over the past 15-plus years under his own name and with Commander Venus, Desaparecidos, Monsters of Folk, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, and most famously Bright Eyes — can’t exactly be called unproductive. Last year, he retired the Bright Eyes name, and has since reformed his post-punk group Desaparecidos, but where he goes with his music next is still up in the air. What is known, however, is his solo tour is coming to the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall this Sunday with support from Daniel Johnston, and we’d really love it if you went.
