Jimmy Fallon Made Jokes Last Night, And Only Questlove Was Laughing

As Sandy hit New York City yesterday afternoon, and people were told to stay home, both Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman went on and taped their shows anyway, without an audience. As Letterman delivered a monologue directly from cards at his desk (and used cue cards for the Top Ten List, since their on-screen graphics guy wasn’t in), Fallon treated the opening of the show as if it was any other show.

Other than Fallon, the show had announcer Steve Higgins, some guests, and the legendary Roots (skeleton) crew, which featured Questlove in painful-laughter as Fallon did a John Travolta impression to no one. It was an interesting night.

So confused. Was this on here? Did it come on late? I watched Letterman, which was weird and great, but then flipped over to Fallon and they just had news on. I waited a little bit but then went to bed.
