Load that film, clear that memory card, and charge your cameraphone: Today is Philly Photo Day. The 2012 edition of the city wide photography day is upon us, and it’s all being kicked off by Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds-Brown at 9:30AM today. Councilwoman BRB will take the day’s first official photograph at a press conference in Love Park, so you can probably guess what that picture will be of.

Also, pictures taken on this year’s Photo Day could possibly end up on buses, billboards, and trains. Keep an eye out for great things to take some images of, and you can upload today’s photo day picture over here until the 30th. Now, get snapping.
