That’s a lotta warm tones
Following up 2011′s wettest year on record and 2010′s snowiest winter, it looks like 2012 is shaping up to go down as the warmest we’ve ever had in Philadelphia. According to a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration report, as reported in the Inquirer, Philadelphia’s average temperature was 62.2 degrees for the first nine months of 2012. This has also been the warmest year on record for, “Allentown, Harrisburg, Scranton, Williamsport and Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, Atlantic City in New Jersey, and Wilmington in Delaware.”
You can read the full report over here, but we’ll just have to see what winter has to say about this.
