For it is true: We speak from experience. And while it is also true that Ms. Weiner has put some truly foul literature into the world and should never be allowed to forget it, it is wrong, wrong, wrong to ever insinuate that she slept/flirted/charmed/even oh hayyyyyyy‘d her way to the top, or even desired to. That is some shit you don’t say. Because you don’t even need to. For you know as well as we do and everyone else who has paid attention that this is not true: Jennifer Weiner lowest-common-denominator’d her way to the top. She wrote the dumbest shit possible that would please the most amount of people possible.
