>>> As of yesterday, Paper Box Studios, nestled comfortably in Old Kensington, officially became a co-working thing. Headed up by Leo and Amy Voloshin of Printfresh, it’s a the 3,000 sq/ft co-working space in a renovated factory from the late 1880s. Amenities include 24 hour access, kitchenette, desk, chair, wi-fi, a private room for calls/skype, 12 person conference room and use of copy/fax machine. Members can rent a private office for $350 per month or a dedicated desk for $200 per month. Workspace is rented on a month-to-month basis to provide flexibility to small and micro businesses in times of growth. It’s like Indy Hall, minus the El ride, and closer to Fishtown Street Urchins! >>> Meanwhile, the Technically Philly kids — some of Indy Hall’s most shining alumni (and hey, Philebrity’s, too) — get big props on the Knight Foundation blog. [KnightFoundation]
