And Now, Today’s GOOD NEWS: The Bartol Foundation Gives Grants To 25 Arts Organizations
The Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation, the only Philadelphia-based foundation devoted solely to supporting local arts organizations, announced $140,000 in grants to 25 Philadelphia arts and cultural organizations today. According to the press release, ‘The 2012 roster of grantees reflects the Bartol Foundation’s commitment to supporting cultural organizations that provide exceptional, sustained arts experiences to children and that bring the arts to Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.” Among recipients are 1812 Productions, Asian Arts Initiative, Musicopia, Philadelphia Folklore Project and more.
