On L&I’s New Website, You Can Waste Hours Just Looking At Violations By Address, Not That We’d Do That Or Anything
The people over at Licenses & Inspections, responsible for things like this, have got themselves an updated website that is jam-packed with information on permits, violations, appeals, codes and regulations.
You can check if your builder has the right licenses, get your own business started on the right track, or (our favorite) poke around over at the map. You can look at a map of all L&I violations, rental property permits and violations, gun permit appeals, vacancy permits and vacant properties, bike trail networks, and more. The site is still new so it’s got some kinks to work out, but if you need to kill some time, just start typing random addresses in the search and see what they’ve got by way of permits and violations. It’s oddly interesting.
