Bradley Movie Coming To Town To Promote Movie That Is Not “Delco: The Movie”

When we saw this notice about Bradley Cooper coming to Philadelphia on August 27th, we got all excited because we thought it was for the premiere of Delco: The Movie, oops, I mean The Silver Linings Playbook; we imagined a buffet from Charlie’s Burgers and photo ops with Chitwood. But no: Cooper will instead be in town with writer/directors Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal with whom he just made a film called The Words (trailer at right). Like every Bradley Cooper movie ever made, it’s about a guy who is kind of a dick and… that’s it. (Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid and Olivia Wilde are also in it.) Anyway, there will be a big premiere at the Prince Music Theater on August 27th. No Charlie Burgers and no Chitwood, though. Sad face.

The grease of Charlie’s Burgers sticks to my arteries since the days of Ridley Senior High (as it was named back then).  Fond memories of skipping study hall to journey to its temple o’ burgers…
