We Here At Philebrity Would Like To Remind You That People Are Crazy Sometimes

According to CBS 3, a man was arrested on the Broad Street Line yesterday while in possession of a loaded AK-47, a .38 handgun, and a 12-inch bayonet. According to the report, “police say a passenger, who is being hailed as a hero, alerted police that a man carrying weapons had just boarded the northbound subway train at City Hall.” Firstly we would like to say thanks and great job to the dude or lady who alerted the police (and honestly, we’re a little shocked it was apparently only one dude who noticed). But we’d also like to remind you that people are crazy sometimes, and they do crazy things, so just be careful out there.

I was walking down the steps at 2nd and Market a couple months ago and saw 6 police officers jump on one guy.  I tough to myself that’s a little excesive.  Then a couple seconds later I saw them rip a handgun out of his hands.  Never know what you’re going to see on the subway.  Cops can be good sometimes.

Someone needs to upload a video about this on the “I SEPTA PHILLY” website.  Try sticking it under “Is it safe”.

From the comments section of the CBS article:

WOOOOO… cannot tell if extremism validated by “liberal democraps,” or insanity validated by extremism.

Like it actually makes a difference if that guy was carrying around a semi-automatic rifle — “oh, if that’s the case, he was just taking the broad street line north to do a little hunting/plinking/whatever…”
