Some Funny People Told Us About This Comedy Festival In The Poconos
Comedy people, listen up: The first annual MaxFunCon East is coming to the Poconos in October. The comedy convention (that features performances, classes, activities, and tons of other convention stuff) will take place at the Inn at Pocono Manor (a comedy Mecca?) and feature performances/presentations by Michael Ian Black, Dick Cavett, Jonathan Ames, Kurt Andersen, Eric Drysdale, Dave Hill, John Hodgman, Julie Klausner and a bunch more, hosted by Put This On‘s Jesse Thorn. Does this sound right up your alley? Do you really, really, really want to go? Well you better mean all of those reallys because tickets (which include accomodations) are $790 per person, $1480 for couples. There’s probably a high laugh-per-dollar ratio though.
