Not Only Do You Have More Power To Challenge The PPA, But Now They Have To Be Nice To You

A lose-lose for the people at the PPA is a win-win for just about everyone else: According to Newsworks, PPA workers (including ticket writers and taxi drivers) will be undergoing hospitality training. It’s going to take a lot of work and a lot of time to turn around the city’s perception of the PPA, but the effort is appreciated. (As an aside: We know there are plenty of PPA workers out there who are just doing their job and are probably plenty hospitable, we just don’t know anyone who has interacted with those ones.)

Add this to the whole “It’s easier to challenge tickets now” stuff from last week, and this is good news for anyone who has ever unknowingly (or knowingly) parked incorrectly and faced the wrath of the omnipresent ticket writers.

Now, let us offer some areas that could use some work in training:

>>>Appropriate volume levels to begin an interaction
>>>How to tell when you’re being sassed and the appropriate amount of sass to be used in response
>>>What is and what is not a bathroom

That should fix most problems.
