Boathouse jackets: Not just for too-cool high school athletes anymore.

Though the US athletes will be sporting Ralph Lauren, which is manufactured in China, at the Opening Ceremonies on Friday (THIS Friday), Boathouse Sports Inc. will be outfitting the US Rowing Team with warmup and race gear made in the US of A. Founder John Strotbeck, himself a former Olympian, says that the company, based in Northern Philadelphia since 1989, is proud of its Philly roots and personal involvement in every item it produces.

So take THAT, US Olympics Committee!
