Right Now In The People’s Republic Of Comcast: Kabletown® Wants You To Watch The Olympics While Walking Down The Street
The people at Comcast announced today that thousands of Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots will be free to the public during the Summer Olympics. From July 27 to August 1, anyone with a smartphone or internet enabled device will be able to hop on “xfinitywifi” labeled signals for free, whether indoors or outside (most are in Philadelphia, but there are some shore locations as well). Comcast, of course, is hoping you use that signal to check out NBCOlympics.com and watch their hours (and hours and hours and hours) of Olympic coverage, but we all know what you’re going to use it for, you heathens.
