East Passyunk Car Show: Not Just A Clever Umbrella For Many, Many South Philly Parking Jokes

Most of the cars around East Passyunk may not be able to stay in the same spot for more than a few hours, but next Sunday there will be tons of space for some classic cars to stay. The 7th Annual East Passyunk Ave. Car Show and Street Festival is taking place from noon to 5PM on July 29th, and features over 140 cars, motorcycles and trucks competing for Best of Show and other awards while you can walk around and take in all the sights while enjoying food, drink, and music.

There will be a different band on every block, tons of special food from Birra, Le Virtu, Ms Goody Cupcake, Stogie Joe’s, Little Baby’s Ice Cream and more. If you can convince whoever is in charge that you’re a child, you can even hop on the moonbounce (or, you know, bring a child that can hop on the moonbounce). We here at the Philebs know very little about cars, but we do know that old ones are really cool to look at. Plus, we like food and drink and fun, so we’re on board with this.
