As mentioned in last week’s Weekend Picks, the seldom-seen/needs-to-be-heard-more-often Miles Davis tribute group Get Up With It played at Cianfrani Park at 8th and Fitzwater on Friday evening. And what a moment of summer zen it was: Wine in bags, babies running around, and utterly sick jams that seemed like they just dropped out of the sky. Whatever this is, please, more of it.
