Attn. Herbivores: City Planter Wants To Help You Grow Some Herbs In Your Kitchen

In these beautiful days of summer, many of us wish we could be outside, tending a garden, and enjoying (literally) the fruits of our labor. But when we look outside our respective windows, many of us think the same thing: Outside is just a bunch of concrete! What the hell!? There’s got to be a better way.

This Saturday, the good people at City Planter will be helping out people who, like us, don’t have anywhere to grow anything but want to do it anyway. At the Comcast Center, CP is hosting a Mini Woolly Pocket Herb Garden Workshop What the shit is a mini wolly pocket herb garden? It’s a, “recycled plastic bottle, indoor/outdoor, green wall planter” that measures 13 inches by 8 inches and can grow herbs right on your kitchen wall. And the CP people will totally show you how they work, how you can grow herbs inside them, and how to hang it on your wall. Admission to the workshop includes a planter and selection of herbs, and the feeling of a sense of satisfaction knowing you outsmarted nature by growing herbs in your apartment.
