Right Now In The People’s Republic Of Comcast: Monopoly Just Got Real

According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Justice Department is looking into whether Comcast broke anti-trust laws by encouraging users (read: creating incentives) to watch programming through its own services over streaming websites such as Hulu and Netflix. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, Time Warner Cable is being investigated for the same charge, as the companies are both providers of programming and high-speed internet.
