With Full Hearts And Clear Eyes, You Can See Fireworks At Penn’s Landing

Fireworks. If you really think about it, you really shouldn’t be that entertained by what is essentially colored explosions in the sky. We think about this sometimes, and then the firework show starts and we can’t help but be in awe of it. It taps into the childlike feeling of “WHOA! LOOK AT THE PRETTY COLORS” inside of adults everywhere. And this year, it’ll happen more in Philly than ever before.

According to Uwishunu, on top of the Welcome America 4th of July fireworks show, the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation will be introducing a brand new weekly fireworks series, called Friday Night Lights. From Friday, July 27th to August 31st, Friday Night Lights will consist of six-consecutive free fireworks displays on Friday nights, launched from the Penn’s Landing Marina. The display will begin at 9:15 each night.
