While it spent last year in a confusing (to us anyway) partnership with Philly FM Fest, this year’s Riot Fest only has a shit-ton of other festivals to compete with. Luckily, the only thing most of those fests share is the word festival, and our need to lump them together.

This year’s edition of Riot Fest East, which now takes place in five cities, is a single day fest at Festival Pier. And if you like bands who play guitars and may or may not play them fast and loud, this is right up your alley. The Promise Ring, Refused, August Burns Red, Gameface, HIRS, OFF!, and BOYSETSFIRE will be caps-locking the shit out of you on July 19th, if you’re into that sort of thing.
