We couldn’t be more proud/intrigued: Our friend and prolific Philebrity commenter Allen Crawford, aka Lord Whimsy, has just signed on with Tin House to illustrate the 1855 edition of Walt Whitman’s “Song of Myself.” Whimsy released the sneak peek above on Friday, revealing a markedly different direction from his previous, graph-heavy outings. The project, which will result in hundreds of pages, is slated for release next spring.
