Infographic Shows How Crappy Philadelphians Eat Compared To, Oh, Say, Everyone Else

Here is an excerpt from a fun infographic by I Shot Him for Massive Health that shows what you already know: As a city, we’re a bunch of fat loads. Click on the link to see the whole thing, and for the love of cripes, stop letting yourself go! It’s later than you think! (We still love you, though.)

how can we eat more bagels than new york when a) there aren’t any good bagels to be had in philly, save for spread? and why cheddar cheese? and ill be dammed if they make me give up my pretzels!

I saw this yesterday and figured they had no idea what they were talking about. I mean, look at those pretzels! WTF??

I refuse to believe that all 8 million people in New York live on a diet of arugula and oatmeal. Did they survey anyone outside of Park Slope and Williamsburg?

    Paesano’s. Oh… my… Paesano’s…

Williamsburg?  Everytime I’ve been there I’ve had waffles and fried chicken.

These charts are made by New Yorkers.

This graphic turns a blind eye to all sorts of folk. Philadelphian’s should stop drinking soda, gatorade, wawa iced t sugar water, all that crap thats in the middle aisles of supermarkets, corner store refrigerators, and the vending machines that rip you off and give you diabetes. Pretzels are great in moderation. Paesanos is not an everyday affair but is fucking important.

Man this graphic is all kinds of weird. While I certainly buy that we’re WAY more unhealthy than NYC (just look out your window), we eat more pretzels and bagels but New York eats more “wheat”? Like, by itself, or as bread? And is wheat not an ingredient in pretzels and bagels? Why do they break some ingredients down to basic levels and not others? And are lattes not considered coffee anymore?

NY BLOWS.  THESE ARE MADE UP STATS.  NY IS A GHETTO.  GO PHILLY!

Its right because these cheesy graphics said so?  I love how arbitrary the numbers are.  Some how Philadelphia is very unhealthy yet all over the 5 burroughs everyone eats their greens all the time. Who ever takes this for the gospel is really dense.

Bagels are the most overrated food in the world.
