The Rosenbach Museum & Library, who have themselves a serious Maurice Sendak collection, will be showing it off in Maurice Sendak: A Legacy from June 10, 2012 to May 26, 2013. The show will feature more than 65 drawings from Sendak’s 65-year career, “refreshed with new material every four months,” to include work from each of Sendak’s books by the end of its run. Oh, and on June 10th, what would have been Sendak’s 84th birthday, admission is free.
