Here Is Some Of What You Can Expect From The 16th Annual Live Arts Festival In September

This fall, the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival will celebrate 16 years with 16 days of events, ranging from dance to theater, music to visual arts, and everything in between. Here’s what you need to know:

>>>The festival takes place September 7 – September 22, a week later than usual
>>>Some theater showcased will feature Australia’s Back to Back Theatre, Toshiki Okada’s chelfitsch of Japan, and New York’s Elevator Repair Service and Young Jean Lee Theater Company
>>>Circus and dance from 7 Fingers out of Montreal, Pig Iron Theater Company, Headlong Dance Theater, Brian Sanders’ JUNK, and Lucidity Suitcase Intercontinental
>>>Public performance and art from Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, and “the largest work in Live Arts Festival history with Sylvain Émard Danse’s Le Grand Continental”
