You know what, we love Vernon Odom. But we don’t see him on TV nearly enough. He’s got that “take no shit” vibe that just comes through with everything he says, and we’re fans of that. Which is why he’s actually the perfect fit for the Free Speech Film Festival.

Odom will be hosting/moderating the award show event of the festival, which takes place May 16 in the Benjamin Franklin Hall of the American Philosophical Society. Filmmakers from 16 nations entered their work on the topic of Free Speech, and awards will be given out all night, with the final award winning film screened for the crowd. If you want to sit in the audience of a real film awards show with celebrity presenters and all, we can’t help you. Seriously, Odom is probably the biggest celebrity at this thing.
