TV Programming Alert: Green City, Clean Waters Doc Coming To WHYY

The Green City, Clean Waters plan is a 25-year strategy to, “protect and enhance our watersheds by managing stormwater with innovative green infrastructure.” The plan has been approved by the EPA, and according to the Weekly Press, the proposal will, “revitalize our rivers and streams by managing stormwater in a way that provides multiple benefits. It will result in clean and beautiful waterways, a healthier environment and increased community value.”

So how will this actually work, and what will the long-term effects be? The answer to those questions will be explained in a 30-minute documentary, airing on WHYY tomorrow at 5:30 PM and again on Sunday at 2 PM.
