Just When We Were Starting To Really Like The Flyers

You know, the Flyers/Penguins series in round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs was one of the most consistently exciting series we’ve ever seen. So we were ready to give hockey a real chance, and then something like this has to happen: Scott Hartnell, Max Talbot, Claude Giroux, and Matt Carle joined Nickelback on stage yesterday at the Wells Fargo Center. To be fair, it’s really the NHL’s fault, since Nickelback is now the official band of hockey and all. Plus, they’re basically Hockey: The Band. They’re loud, they have bad hair, and they’re Canadian. Still, this is not okay. WARNING: If you really like the Flyers, try not to watch the video over here, it’ll hurt.

I doubt Pat liked Nickeback (I would assume Dobbs and Myers do)… I figure Pat love Cetera
