Here at the Philebs, we think science is very, very cool, but we just don’t understand a lot of it. So if you’re like us, you should probably hop on over to the Philadelphia Science Festival this week, happening all over the place.

So what kind of awesome shit is happening? Well, this: ;earn about the difference between medicines and drugs, science quizzo, discover the science of beer-making, watch a little Bill and Ted, and talk about the shifting perception of geeks in popular culture. And yes, those are all taking place over the next two days, plus tons of events for the rest of the week.

But what are we most excited about? ASTRONOMY NIGHT, where over 20 venues will have, “professional and amateur astronomers [bringing] out their telescopes to show locals the wonders of the night sky.” Because seriously, when it comes to science, there is nothing cooler than outer space. Nothing.
