Film Sweat: Pre-Oscar No-Dice Roll Continues

RECOMMENDED: For the second week in a row, good taste prevents us from recommending any new movie to you. Above is a clip from the 1978 made-for-TV film Nunzio, about a mentally retarded guy who thinks he’s a superhero, which we present for effect: This piece of shit (which we were briefly obsessed with as kids) is five times better than anything that’s opening this week.

ALSO NEW IN THEATERS THIS WEEK: Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance, the sequel to every Nicholas Cage movie made in the last 15 years; This Means War, the new movie by McG starring Reese Witherspoon, which I’d tell you about, but I completely spaced out during the trailer, thinking about how I am hearing sound and seeing color, but NOTHING MEANS ANYTHING TO ME; The Secret World of Arrietty, some anime shit re-voiced by Amy Poehler and Will Arnett; and Coriolanus, the Shakespeare adaptation directed by and starring Ralph Fiennes, which should be good, but which is cancelled out by the fact that Gerard Butler is also in it, and honestly, we can’t even look at this prick.
