So this is what’s happening: Supposedly, Finnegan’s Wake, a place with “a good place to get some tail” as its biggest compliment on Yelp, is about to expand and add a 3-story outdoor deck. A bill is currently before City Council to strike Bodine St. between Spring Garden & Green for this purpose; the new three-story outdoor space would neighbor a new space being built for the City’s Democratic Party and they have “already planned to let Finnegan’s have part of its property for this outdoor deck.” It doesn’t need to be spelled out, but as our tipster said, “That’s right – a city street given away to a bar so it can create an outdoor nightclub to be shared with the same politicians who gave away the street.”

So let’s take a few seconds to lay out what this means: Tapout tees, lots of hair gel, and lots and lots more cover bands. And no one deserves that. To let it be known that you are against this, sign the petition over here.
