South Philly residents were greeted with these this morning — “tickets” that were in fact advertisements from a local pretzel shop. We were going to tell you the name of the shop, but then we started thinking about it, and we realized that this is a super shitty piece of marketing in that it addresses the consumer in such a negative way initially that it shouldn’t be encouraged. Then again, the thought of getting a ticket in South Philly at all is kind of absurd, so maybe that’s the mindset it was coming from.
