A tipster tells us that he just saw:

Billy Baldwin, at the Marriott Hotel Starbucks. In town for the NCAA wrestling championships. Had a special order that the staff apparently couldn’t fulfill.

You know, there’s so many weird disgusting options at every Starbucks in America that if you can’t walk out of there “happy” with some gross thing or other, there’s probably no pleasing you in this life at all. Billy Baldwin, as a form of protest, we’re not even running your picture.

    As the barista who made his drink I have to say that Mr. Baldwin ordered three shots of espresso (even for Philly standards, a really uncomplicated drink). He was with another man, they were having aconversation. Billy Baldwin wasn’t overly friendly but he said”thank you” which is more than I can say for most people.

    I would like to point out that, indeed, it is not the customer’s role to say “thank you” at the conclusion of a transaction. It is the server who is supposed to thank the patron for spending money at the establishment. Upon typing this, my wife, who works in the food service industry, just called me an asshole.
