Each of us, in our own time and fashion, has had to consider that Allen Iverson is not what he once was to us. For some, Iverson’s tale is a Kenny Powers-esque parable about the spoils of success and the pratfalls of ego; for others, it’s just sad. But this week, A.I. is learning what we all know every Thanksgiving: War is not the Answer. Turkey is the Answer. Or something like that: It’s looking fairly likely that Iverson will sign with the Besiktas, the third most powerful basketball franchise… in Turkey. Yes, Turkey. As in “jive.” Oh, Answer: So much to answer for. Go Besiktas!
