Oh, Like You Didn’t Know This Was Gonna Happen: SugarHouse Approved For Table Games
State gaming officials have granted SugarHouse, currently being built at Frankford & Delaware quicker than you can say “Hey! My mouth-breathing racist neighbor is a blackjack dealer now!,” approval for table gaming when it opens in September. Under the deal’s terms, SugarHouse will offer total of 40 table games, including 18 blackjack tables and six craps tables. One could argue that the addition of table games could class up the joint a little — as opposed to slots parlors, casinos with table games have a larger capacity to attract high rollers and, with them, finer casino accoutrements like higher-end food and entertainment — but then again, who knows what exactly the SugarHouse marketing plan is like. It could go either way.
