Readers Cameraphone: This Is As Probably As Good A Time As Any To Tell You That We’d Gladly Disown Bradley Cooper

DO NOT WANT! Says reader Erik: “Here are some camera phone shots of 19th and Market after being transformed to look like 52nd and 6th in NYC for the filming of The Dark Fields. I also saw Mr. Hangover himself getting whisked away into a car but did not react quickly enough to get a shot.” Uhm, that’s cool. We can do without.

Reports of cast/crew being camped out in Marathon Grill on that corner.

also theyre using the wrong font. should be Helvetica. idiots.

  • deafmute

humiliating for everyone involved. including this city.

  • barryg

Philly is kind of like a version of NYC that can’t afford a license to Helvetica and has trouble spelling.

This is actually nice. I’ve worked on projects that fake NYC in Philly but will still spend a day or two up there to get some exterior shots, and the subway entrances are always on the list.

I think the misspelling is worse than the wrong font choice. If they shoot everything in Philly, it’ll match as much as anything else. Suspension of disbelief!

Market West and JFK are the least “philly” streets we have.
