And Now, Your Hand-Drawn Neighborhood Map: Steve Powers’ WEST PHILLY

When we ran this clip yesterday of artist Steve Powers speaking about his “Love Letter” mural project in West Philly, one commenter noted that, as awesome as Powers and his project are, how come there’s still been no submission for a hand-drawn map of West Philly? (We were a little bit stymied about that, too.) Well, none other than Powers himself got straight to work and drew up this one last night, which shows that stretch of West Philly under the El (and also where many of Powers’ latest murals were done). We just love it. And we love this guy. But there’s so much more West Philly to map out! Consider the gauntlet thrown, West Philadelphians.
Anybody else want to join in the fun? Send us your hand-drawn neighborhood maps to tips[at]philebrity[dot]com and we will totally run them. And check out more neighborhood maps here on Philebrity.
