This is the Brooklyn band, Revival Times. They’re playing tonight at Silk City with locals The Midnight Sounds (whoa, HEAVY Doors influence, dudes), and we think you should go because it’s been a long time since you’ve adopted an out-of-town band and without you, only the three people who’ve RSVP’d to the Facebook invite will be there. And that would not be right. Revival Times have a nice mix of Walkmen-esque disaffection and a folksy Velvets rambling happening. They are completely worthy. And, like we said, it’s been so long since you went to something on a whim and a hope that it might be good. We’re telling you now that it will be. And these guys will be so thankful. They already have to drive back to Brooklyn tonight, WHERE THEY HAVE TO LIVE. Isn’t that suffering enough? Do what’s right, Anonymous Rock Fan. We know you will.
