They’re big in Chicago, too. I don’t like them.
If I dug my car out at point A and have to go to point B, what the hell am I supposed to do? Double park while I shovel another spot? More often than not, cars on the road have already dug themselves out, so the number of available parking spots should be conserved.

Space saving in residential neighborhoods is complete bullshit. The odds that someone trying to park in the neighborhood has already dug themselves out of a spot earlier (probably within a block or two) is most likely hovering around 99%.

It IS a hassle to shovel out your car for 2 hours then find NO parking because others didn’t shovel out… not to mention getting stuck, icy conditions, etc…
